Our Research

The Neuroscience Center for Anxiety, Stress, and Trauma (NeuroC.A.S.T) is a cutting edge translational research center at Wayne State University focused on the neurobiology of stressor-, trauma-, depressive-, anxiety-, and substance use-related disorders. The primary objective of this center is to develop 'bench-to-bedside' clinical research methods to inform therapeutic interventions for fear and anxiety-related disorders and how they relate to human factors such as personality, genetics, and environmental influences.
